Webinar Description:

This presentation covers the basic armamentarium and step-by-step techniques dentists need to achieve effective rubber dam isolation for most restorative cases. Through a selection of clinical examples, it demonstrates different isolation strategies, clamp choices, frame and punch tips, and problem-solving approaches for challenging situations to improve moisture control, visibility, and restorative outcomes.

Dr. Jorge L. Garaicoa

Dr. Jorge L. Garaicoa received a DDS from Catholic University Santiago de Guayaquil in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2007. He later earned an AEGD Certificate from the Eastman Institute of Oral Health at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 2011. In 2014, he completed a Certificate in Prosthodontics as well as a Masters in Science at the University of Iowa. From 2015 to 2021, he served as an Assistant Professor at OHSU in Portland, OR. He has also served as a Research Scholar for Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Dr. Garaicoa currently maintains a private practice in Plantation, Florida focused on Prosthodontics. He is a national and international speaker and has multiple publications in different journals.
