Complete coverage restorations are the most common treatment when it comes to rehabilitation of teeth. However, in some cases it leads to the unnecessary removal of health tooth structure, loss of vitality, sub gingival margins, and periodontal problems. Partial adhesive restorations offer a more conservative option with minimal removal of structure and very little complications. This presentation will cover the different kind of preparations that are available for posterior teeth, as well as other factors we need to consider after caries removal.
