3D MICROSCOPY IN DENTISTRY

The Art of Working Precisely and Efficiently

Time:- 10:00 AM – 12:00PM EST

The introduction of the dental operating microscopes triggered a transition from conventional dentistry to the precise and detailed world of micro-dentistry. However, not all clinicians are willing to invest the time needed to overcome the learning curve to use the microscope in an effective manner. The 3D surgical microscope offers an outstanding depth of field, crystal clear imaging, a wide range of ergonomic positions, powerful magnification, illumination and an easy to use clinical documentation system; all the above-mentioned advantages in conjunction will decrease the learning curve to make the transition from regular dentistry to Micro-Dentistry, frustration-free and enjoyable.

This 3D microscopy course is designed for clinicians beginning their journey into the world of 3D Microscopic Dentistry. The participants will learn and understand the fundamental principles of 3D microscopic dentistry. The topics covered include detailed information related to dental operative microscopes, ergonomics in dental microscopy and proper application of the 3D microscope in operative dentistry, endodontics and prosthodontics.

Dr. Argueta will describe how the 3D microscope may be used to the best advantage by the dentist to enhance clinical results, obtain clinical material for teaching purposes and clinical explanations, reduce stress and avoid the, so common, neck and back pain in dental practitioners that, too often, will decrease the ability to practice dentistry and earn a living.

THIS COURSE TEACHES YOU HOW TO:

  • Participants will be able to describe the advantages that a 3D Micro-Dentistry clinical practice offers to patients, clinicians and staff.

  • Participants should be able to describe the procedures in dentistry where the 3D surgical microscope can be used.

  • Participants will be able to list the characteristics and advantages of the 3D Surgical Microscope.

  • Participants will be able to incorporate the 3D microscope into their daily clinical practice efficiently.
