Description:
This lecture is designed for dentists who are interested in dental stem cell banking and who would like to know how teeth and oral tissues can be generated using stem cells. Teeth and oral tissues may be generated from stem cells sourced from tooth buds, baby teeth, third molars, periodontal tissues, and induced pluripotent cells. In the future, dentists may be placing stem cells and tooth constructs instead of dental implants to replace missing teeth.
