Description:
The importance of gingival aesthetics is well understood but management of treatment options and integrating a team approach may often be confusing. For the restorative dentist there are options that improve the predictability of the aesthetic outcome for both natural teeth and implants. This presentation will help in dento-gingival design as well as simple but effective treatments to manage the gingival scallop and papillae.

COURSE OUTLINE

OBJECTIVES

After completing this course, the clinician will be able to:
1. Design dental restorations that harmonize with the gingiva and surrounding soft tissues
2. To determine when simple gingivectomy is the treatment of choice for harmonizing the gingival scallops and tooth outline form.
3. How to restoratively manage the soft tissue around dental implants
4. How to manage the gingiva from the time of extraction or incovering of implants.

COURSE EVALUATION
The evaluation form for your self instructional CE credits exam will be available when you log in.
