Description:
Endodontic education in the 21st Century has expanded to include autotransplantation, regeneration/revascularization, single tooth implants, decompression of large lesions in addition to both non-surgical and surgical endodontic treatment. This presentation will illustrate some of the non-routine cases that are being taught in the Postdoctoral Endodontic Program at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

COURSE OUTLINE

OBJECTIVES

After completing this course, the clinician will be able to:
1. Better understand the indications and technic for regenerative/revascularization procedures.
2. Better understand the indications and technic for decoronation procedures.
3. Better understand the rationale for endodontists placing implants.
4. Better understand the rationale and technic of autotransplantation procedures.
